The ‘Boyfriend’ singer’s former employee Moshe Benabou also alleges that the singer owes him unpaid wages with compensation totaling $421,261 (£260,831). Benabou filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court, and has claimed that he was assaulted by the singer backstage on October 10, 2012.
“Justin Bieber, egged on by a small group of his ‘companions,’ launched an abusive tirade against Moshe Benabou,” read an account of the alleged event in legal documents, according to E! Online.
“The tirade was apparently triggered by what Justin Bieber perceived as an attempt by Moshe Benabou to keep one member of Mr Bieber’s entourage physically away from Justin Bieber. “As part of his tirade, Justin Bieber repeatedly punched [the plaintiff] in the chest and upper body area.”
Bieber reportedly fired the bodyguard immediately following the alleged incident.
